Who We Are
A Case of Faith Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children navigating foster care and transitional homes. Through thoughtfully packed luggage filled with essential items and mental health resources, we help restore dignity, stability, and hope during life’s most uncertain transitions- restoring their faith in themselves & in their futures. We are located in Baker County and are currently serving all of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, we are also supported by ready and active volunteers in various parts of the country who share a heart for our mission.
Heart Behind The Mission
This mission is deeply personal to our founder, whose childhood experiences revealed both the challenges children face during uncertain transitions and the life-changing impact of compassionate, supportive caregivers. Later losing two of their siblings from the lasting effects of unmet mental health needs, these experiences inspired a commitment to every foster child’s dignity, sense of belonging and long term, mental well-being. Our mission believes building the kind of village every child deserves- one grounded in stability, protection, and presence. While foster families and community support provide invaluable care, children navigating major life changes often carry complex emotions that require deeper understanding and accessible support. Our founder felt called to ensure that the children who need it the most will receive not only practical essentials but also a variety of emotional and mental health resources & tools they can carry with them through every season of life.
What We Do
We transform new and gently used luggage into resource-filled “Cases of Faith,” each thoughtfully packed with essentials that restore a child’s sense of belonging, protect their dignity & help regulate their emotions. From hygiene necessities to mental health and safety resources, we work to fill critical gaps children face during life’s most difficult transitions. Through donation drives and family-centered, flea market–style community events, we bring people together to raise awareness and build a supportive village for children who need one most. We welcome community partners, volunteers, and collaborators who share a heart for making a meaningful difference.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support children navigating foster care and other transitional placements by providing their very own thoughtfully packed luggage filled with essential items, and accessible mental health resources that promote safety, dignity, and emotional coping skills — not only for the moment they enter a new home, but as lasting tools they can carry with them throughout every journey ahead.
We are committed to building a village within local communities that protects the minds and long-term well-being of vulnerable children while restoring confidence, reinforcing belonging, and gently planting seeds of faith along the way — faith in themselves, faith in their futures, and faith that their present circumstances can lead to something greater.
As we grow, we plan to expand volunteer opportunities and host meaningful community events, markets, and workshops that strengthen connection, educate children on the power of everyday kindness, and the importance of a village. All while investing in a safer, brighter, and more supported future that every child deserves.
